TIL about Google Drive orphaned files? They have no folder / label.

Someone just asked me for access to a press release from 2016 that I thought wasn’t online anymore. This file is NOT in “My Drive” or “Shared with me” or “Trash” or anything else. It has no location but I can hunt it down (and many others) using search. ? ?

If you search for:
is:unorganized owner:me
You will find any files that are like this.
