These are the un-photoshopped pictures I took at today’s Concourse d’elegance at Keeneland in Lexington Kentucky.
A few of these will look a lot better once I crop and adjust them. I’ll post them separately when I do that. I may not be an amazing photographer but there’s some in here I can work with and make better.
So I thought this event was supposed to go until 6pm but when we arrived shortly after 5pm there seemed to be a mass exodus of cars from the park. So instead of really going to this I just pulled off to the side of the road and took photos of the passing cars on my iphone for 10-15 minutes.
What was really interesting was how the iphone warped the images of the moving cars but they looked stationary otherwise. Check out the wheels – warped but no blur! And it’s really hard to get the timing right for the car speed and the phone’s reaction time so not all of these are centered.
So for everyone interested I just finished off the Museum’s 15th Anniversary logo for next year’s event before heading off to the 14th Anniversary over Labor day weekend. I’ll be giving everyone a sneak peak of the logo once I’m 100% sure it’s been approved and they’ve started applying it merchandise.
Meanwhile, I hope you’ll enjoy some photos from this year’s festivities. Use the “info on” button to see the information about a picture.
I’ll be adding a panoramic image of the “3’s” display. There is only one 1983 in existence and it’s at the National Corvette Museum. This is the only place in the world that they can have the 1953, 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993, & 2003 side by side.
My blog isn’t presentable yet! Eeep! I had no idea I was going get such a reference – THANK YOU!
Anyone who is clicking through from travel commons, please come back in a week or so. Hopefully I will actually have this set up to match my business website ( http://www.fascinationdesign.com )and also have that updated.
